June Foulds
June Foulds (born 13 June 1934) is a retired British track and field athlete, who competed mainly in the 100 metres. She became June Paul upon marrying British Olympic fencer Raymond Paul.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=June Paul )〕 Foulds competed for Great Britain in the 1952 Summer Olympics, held in Helsinki, Finland, where she won the bronze medal in the 4 × 100 m relay with her team mates Sylvia Cheeseman, Jean Desforges and Heather Armitage. June Foulds returned four years later to the 1956 Games, held in Melbourne, Australia, to team up again with Heather Armitage to win a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m relay, this time with Anne Pashley and Jean Scrivens. She appeared as a "castaway" on the BBC Radio programme ''Desert Island Discs'' on 17 November 1958. She was married for a time to Ronnie Carroll with whom she had two sons. ==References==
